ABOUT BRAZILIAN JIU-JITSU

Derived from Japanese Judo, BJJ is a ground fighting martial art based on grappling. Many BJJ techniques focus on forcing the competitor into submission by overpowering and applying different skills including, but not limited to, twisting and choking.

The root of Revolution Jiu-Jitsu is from Gile Ribeiro Jiu-Jitsu. Having the main headquarters at Curitiba in Brazil, Team Gile Ribeiro is playing a remarkable part in South Korea, Australia, and other various countries. Moreover, it is a world-renowned team not only for its BJJ but also for capoeira and MMA in the UFC competitions.

  • Ken is a comprehensive martial artist who has been practising BJJ since 2008 with experiences in Judo (2-Dan) and Taekwondo (2-Dan). From 2012 to 2014, Ken was trained as a military officer in 203 Commando Brigade in South Korea. After completing the military services, Ken won several Australia BJJ competitions and participated in invitational championships. In 2018, he claimed the champion belt by winning two championships in America. Ken has expanded his career as an enthusiastic BJJ instructor and has trained many practitioners to achieve awards from numerous competitions in Australia.
